Radius Boston Exterior

Show of hands. Who would like to see an affordable (relatively speaking, of course) new construction apartment option in the Brighton area?

Radius Building Entry

I see you- all of you. Well, I have good news for you and I’ll tell you all about it now so you can make plans accordingly for Winter 2019/Spring 2020. Hang in there- it’ll be worth it.

The Radius building is a 132 unit building currently being erected at the corner of Market and Western Ave. in Brighton.

Radius Boston Commercial Space

The location offers you excellent commuting options including access to Memorial/Storrow Drive, the Mass Pike and the commuter rail at Brighton Landing. It also lends itself to bicyclists as a great option near well traveled bike paths. Dealers choice for your desired commute- either way, the building has plenty of garage parking spaces (85) and bike storage spots (132 along with a bike workshop) to suit your needs.

Radius Fitness Center and Dog Run

Radius holds studios, one beds, one plus dens and two beds- nothing larger.

The units are outfitted with all the things you’d expect (vinyl “hardwood” floors, expansive windows, etc.) and also features upgraded features like full sized washer & dryers in all the units, a marble-look in their granite and a HUGE full wall mirror above the vanity in the bathroom with a built-in light bar. (<- Trust me, this is much cooler than it might read). All units have the new generation Nest thermostats along with outlets w/USB ports and new Schlage hardware for the unit door locks giving the tenant access via FOB or app on their device. Select units offer a balcony as well.

Indoor/Outdoor Lounge at Radius Boston

Working closely with this developer in the past, it comes as no surprise to me that there is an environmentally sensitive/wellness aspect to the building as well.

On a more personal side, the building will offer the tenants a mindfulness meditation room, roof top fitness room and a vitamin c infused shower head in all units. Pretty neat stuff going on throughout the building.

The building will achieve LEED Gold Certification as close attention was paid to the materials used in the construction.

Roof Lounge at Radius Boston

On the top (6th) floor you’ll find the building’s amenities. Here, the tenants can lounge in the solarium which overlooks the Charles River and opens up to the roof deck lounge featuring grilling stations and fire pits. There is also a full-sized demonstration kitchen adjacent to multiple indoor seating areas and both private and collaborative workstations. The fitness room overlooks the dog run so you and your bestie can get your exercise simultaneously.

Unit count is as follows: 53 studios, 43 one bedrooms, 16 one bed + dens and 20 two beds. Pricing is still TBD as of this publishing but expect NOTHING above $4,000/mo. which is unheard of in the new construction apartment market. Studios will float around the $2k/mo. And 2 beds will max out around $3,900/mo. Exceptionally well priced.

The Radius will be ready to go Winter 2019 and are PRE-LEASING at the moment so give your Kingston REM agent a holler and you can be one of the first people in the door!
