Our #kingstonlocal today features the Eureka! Puzzles & More store in Coolidge Corner. It’s chock full of treasures like artful and challenging jigsaws, diabolical mindbenders and the ancient art of Japanese puzzle boxes. Puzzles for all ages- from your 100 piece jigsaw to those thought-to-be-impossible-but-ultimately-so-so-rewarding-when-solved tavern puzzles and everything in between. A puzzle solvers paradise. They even have a puzzle outside their shop just waiting for you to hunker down and get after!
Eureka! also has classic games like chess and Go!, card games old and new and provisions for your adult game room as well (playing cards, felts, poker chips, etc).
What’s more is that Eureka! is super involved in the community. They host regular game nights every Tuesday night in the summer from 5-8pm (call the store or check out their Facebook page for weekly deets!). Eureka! also operates a summer, full day game camp from 10am to 4pm during normally scheduled school breaks. The program, in partnership with @knightmovescafe in Coolidge Corner, is a special program for kids between 11-15 yrs old (it’s a loose age restriction, btw) offers players some hot and heavy strategy and RPG gaming and features the newest/latest and greatest and also your classic standbys. What’s more is there are trainers and instructors for the players to offer guidance and strategy. It’s a very cool devotion to the community which fits @kingston.rem philosophy of being a helpful and contributing neighbor quite well and a perfect #kingstonlocal highlight.
PRO TIP: You can also hire Eureka! Entertainment to provide entertainment and games for your special event such as a Bar Mitzvah, corporate events, holiday parties & weddings. Eureka! will bring their team of experienced game leaders and even provide customized and thematic party favors for the occasion. Need a DJ or Emcee? They can do that too!
